Academy of Arts Jerusalem
The design of the new Campus for the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design is thought as a self-confident but sensitive urban contribution towards the delicate ancient environment, establish- ing a new civic unity. This campus, thus split in two main volumes, constitutes an architectural entity in form and content. By means of its generous spatial con- figuration creative processes will betrig- gered and supported, internal as well as external communication-flows relieved. In addition to that the project ensures a modern and flexible teaching facility by all its uses and modes of inhabitation.
